HOURS, SCHEDULE & FEES INFORMATION
HOURS
AGAPELAND is open Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. all year, except for the holidays listed on the last page of this handbook.
All children need to be picked up by the closing time of 6:00 p.m.
If any child is left in our care beyond this time, there will be a $20.00 late fee assessed for the first 15-minute period (or any part thereof). In addition, a $10.00 late fee will be assessed for each 15-minute period (or any part thereof) after the initial 15 minute period. Habitual tardiness (more than twice in one month) in picking your child up will result in these fees being increased to $30.00 and $40.00 respectfully.

Agapeland normally closes for the week between Christmas and New Years. Notification will be sent home in October confirming the specific dates for each year. You will be notified, in writing, and in advance, of any other closings, as soon as we are made aware of them. (For snow closings, please follow the procedure listed below).

FEES
There is a $50.00 non-refundable registration fee to be included with the application. One month’s tuition is due as security upon the acceptance of a child’s application. This will be applied to the last month of enrollment in Agapeland for that child. A second child, from the same family, is entitled to a 10% discount. Checks should be made payable to Agapeland Child Care Center and placed in the tuition slot on the office door of Agapeland, or given in person to Carol Gomes. We will not be responsible for any checks given to anyone else, or left anywhere else.
If a payment is being made in cash, please get the Agapeland Director, Administrative-assistant, or Carol Gomes to give you a signed receipt. Agapeland will not be held liable for cash payments where no receipt was issued.
Fees are payable on a monthly or bimonthly basis (this must be set up with Carol Gomes, ext. 2105). The first month’s payment is due when the child enters Agapeland. All subsequent payments are due in the accounting office of Faith Fellowship Ministries by the 1st of the month. Any payment received after the 10th of the month is considered delinquent, and a $30.00 late fee will be attached to that month’s tuition. If the account is not paid by the 15th of the month, the child will be placed on financial suspension until the account is brought current.
All monthly tuition situations must be discussed with Carol Gomes. The Agapeland administration cannot help you in anything concerning tuition payments. Carol is available Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday between the hours of 8:00am and 3:00pm.
Three weeks attendance out of a given month constitutes a month. Therefore, the full month’s fee is required. There is no reimbursement or credit given for the holidays listed in the back of this handbook, or for any other days the center must close as deemed necessary by administration.
Checks returned to us by your bank for NSF or any other reason are very costly to Agapeland. When this occurs, the payment is considered “not received” and a late fee of $30.00, plus a $15.00 bank fee is added to the payment.
* In the event that we receive two returned checks, all future payments for any school related costs will be required to be paid in cash, money order, or certified check.
No exceptions will be made.
