Today, there is an urgent need for believers to develop a solid foundation and understanding
of the Word of God. God our Father has provided His people with every possible
avenue to insure their complete and total victory in this life. This discipleship course
is designed to help Christians build a strong biblical foundation by teaching sound bible
doctrine and basic bible principles. A strong foundation will also allow you to deepen
your relationship with God, live a Christ centered life, and have victory over sin, while
growing toward maturity in your daily walk with God.
This course consists of seven (7) 45-minute class sessions.
- Lifestyle Evangelism:
Today, lifestyle evangelism, among family, friends, and associates, continues to be the
number one way of helping people become believers and members of the local church.
This training provides you the opportunity to take important steps to becoming effective
in outreach, such as: examining what the Bible teaches about reaching others, evaluating
what you are presently doing, exploring ways to become more effective in building
relationships and practicing a simple gospel presentation. You will also identify the
basic requirements of a disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ and how to make action plans
for discipling new believers.
This course consists of three (3) 45-minute class sessions.
- Finding Your Place In The Ministry Program:
This is your church! Discovering your place in a ministry at Faith Fellowship is an exciting
journey. We want to help you on your way to experiencing how wonderful it is to
be a part of this church family. Through classroom instruction and one to one assessment,
this course will help you discover your God given spiritual gifts, talents, skills,
and abilities and how to utilize them in this ministry. This is a great opportunity to learn
more about yourself and select a ministry that is compatible with your gifts.
The course consists of three (3) 45-minute class sessions.
- Knowing and Growing in Christ:
In examining the scriptures, we will discover that man was created good and upright
without the effects of sin. From the very beginning, it was God’s idea to share His life,
kingdom, and plans with His offspring, called humanity/mankind. It is necessary to understand
what the Bible teaches about the origin and fall of Satan and its effects on humanity.
In the beginning of the history of man, we see Satan defiance to God, which
brought deception to man. The very purpose of the entire coming of Christ into the
world, in all its varying aspects, was that by assuming a nature like unto ours, He might
offer up His life as a sacrifice for the sins of men. In this course, we will seek to understand,
appreciate and comprehend the purpose, intent, goals and objectives of God for
humanity.
This course consists of seven (7) 45-minute class sessions.
- The Local Church- God’s Family:
The Church originated in the mind of God in the Old Testament, was established by
Jesus on the Cross of Calvary, and was empowered by the Holy Spirit on the day of
Pentecost. The Bible is filled with teachings concerning what the church is to do. Understanding
what the Bible says about the church’s mission enables us to focus our heart
and energies as a church on God’s priorities. Jesus Christ is the Head of the Church: we
are the body. He is the Shepherd: we are the sheep. The church was made possible by
Jesus’ death and resurrection. It is the only divine institution that the Lord set in the
earth by which He will carry his plan for mankind. The Body of Christ must come to a
biblical understanding of this truth. It is important for us as believers to keep in mind
that we are co-laborers with Him.
This course consists of seven (7) 45-minute class sessions.
Ministry Of Helps:
The Ministry of Helps at Faith Fellowship Ministries is the consolidation of various
groups of members committed to serving God and His people. By participating in the
Ministry of Helps you can assist in meeting the operational demands of the Ministry and
the spiritual needs of the people who participate in worship, bible study, and social activities.
The Ministry of Helps is a supernatural ministry set in the church by God. Many
find fulfillment, spiritual growth, enjoyment, and even new relationships as a Ministry
of Helps volunteer. We ask that you prayerfully consider where you should work in the
fulfillment of the vision of Faith Fellowship Ministries.
