ELDERS MINISTRY

Mission Statement:
“Assist in the Work of Nurturing and Maturing the Body of Christ, Until We All Come Into the Fullness of Christ”

Services:

  • Serve as an armor bearer of God’s vision for FFM
  • Provide a prayer shield for Pastor, staff ministers and the congregation
  • Assist the Pastor and staff ministers providing for the spiritual well-being of deacons and the congregation
  • Be available to the congregation as an extension of Christ and the Pastor
  • Teach, defend and practice principles of sound doctrine
  • Recognize and train the saints for service
  • Be the eyes and ears of the Pastor

DEACONS MINISTRY

Mission Statement:
“Demonstrate God’s Love Through Practical Service and Ongoing Support”

Services:

  • Perform various services of a practical nature
  • Care for the physical and spiritual well-being of the flock, in love
  • Visit the sick, shut-ins & those in the hospital
  • Support bereaved families
  • Evangelize and disciple new believers
  • Encourage, pray for, and fellowship with members one on one or small groups
  • Encourage all members to practice principles of godly living
  • Encourage and help members to become active participants in the church

ELDERS AND DEACONS MINISTRIES (E.D.M.)

Mission Statement:
“ Serving God and His People”

Network Services:

  • A network of support that allows God’s vision for FFM to come to pass.
  • A network comprised of staff ministers, elders, deacons and members working together to advance God’s kingdom.
  • Support Life Groups
  • Coordinate community and evangelism outreach activities
  • Support services such as: visit the sick, shut-ins
  • Support those in the hospital
  • Support bereaved families

MEMBERSHIP SERVICES PROGRAMS (M.S.P.)

Mission Statement:
“Connecting Believer’s to the Local Church”

Services:

  • Conduct all membership classes in English & Spanish
  • Coordinate right hand of fellowship events
  • Conduct water baptism ceremonies
  • Conduct parent/child dedication classes & ceremonies
  • Information center maintain/distribute church information
  • Provide certificates/cards/pictures
  • Process all new membership application

THE ROAD TO CHRISTIAN GROWTH AND SPIRITUAL DEVELOPMENT

“Equipping Believers for the Work of the Ministry”

Services:

  • Conduct 32 spiritual growth training
  • Teach sound doctrine with life application focus
  • Minister to the needs of student before and after classes
  • Promote prayer, fellowship and discipleship
  • Encourage and help new members to become active members and participants in the church

“Evangelize To Disciple: Seeking And Saving The Lost”

Services:

  • Provide evangelism training, tools and opportunities to evangelize
  • Support community service and evangelism outreaches
  • Prepare believers to embrace our communities with God’s love
  • Encourage individual members to win souls for Christ
  • Help establish new believers as disciples in Christ
  • Encourage EVERY individual to personally embrace evangelism

FINDING YOUR PLACE IN THE MINISTRY (FYPM)

Mission Statement:
“Launching Believers into effective Service”

Services:

  • Share fundamental principles that will help each Believer to understand the why and how of serving in the Body of Christ
  • Provide the opportunity for believers to use their talents, skills and abilities in ministry.
  • Assist believers in determining their place of service within the local church.
  • Providing an overview of departments and how you can serve within.
  • Each student is to complete a FFM worker’s application.
  • The Finding Your Place in The Ministry team will follow up within (7) days
